ok... i've figured out the cp thing....

i dunno why... but apparently only mods can
DL files on yahoo groups. i think this is
an internal problem with yahoo (go figure)
because this is true on other yahoo groups.

because of this... i'm changing everyone
on the cp member list to mods... which is
a risk, i know. [img]wink.gif[/img] but its all good...

apparently it means you will be receiving
an email to the email addy you've provided
on the cp group 'application' and this
email will just tell you that you have been
made a mod and you can edit certain things.

this option to edit is beyond my control.
it just comes with being a mod. apparently
the only thing you will be able to edit
are individual email settings for members...
which means you can designate whether a
member receives email notification.

naturally i don't suspect anyone here to
fuck with that.. since it would be bad for
you (and for anyone that has set their
own email notifications)... plus i will
be able to see any and all changes (as you
will too) in the 'moderator activity' and
'group activity' sections of the management
features.

no worries.

there are still some features that no one
is allowed to access other than me and
the mod that i have with access to more
technical things... no biggie.

as a mod, you are also defaulted with the
feature to change posting settings. again,
since no one posts on CP... its not a big
deal.


in short... don't mess with anything...
i will know. the fact that everyone is being
made mod is only because there is some
farking glitch in yahoo groups... and this
will help you to get the files.

so other than the spam email you will
receive for being made mod, you should be
able to get files without a hitch.

hmmm... it seems there is a mod limit to yahoo
groups... and because of that i've deleted duplicate
memberships and people that haven't posted here
in a while.

free to remove yourself or tell me and i'll
remove you... cuz i don't have time to mess
around with this moderator bs and it would
be better than worrying with it all
